Gorontalo mostly consists of mountains that stretches from north to south of the province. In the southern part of Gorontalo, Tomini Bay has crossed by the equator. There are many islands that are uninhabited but decorated with white sand around this bay.
Togean, a national park with a sea ecosystems 2 area covering 292,000 hectares and 70,000 hectares of its land mass. This archipelago is a cluster of small islands across the center of the Tomini Bay. In Togean you will find mangrove forests and sea grass.
You will find a pilot whales, giant clams, trochus, manta rays, gray reef sharks, and big eye trevally fish, and of course the colorful coral in their underwater.
