The landscape here has been shaped by thousands of years of volcanic activity. From the incredible Lake Toba which was formed around 75,000 years ago in one of the most fierce volcanic eruptions ever known to the still smouldering Mt Sibayak, volcanoes dominate the landscape everywhere.

MEDAN is the largest city in Sumatra attracting residents from all over Indonesia who come here to do business. Medan is filled with street vendors offering a great variety of traditional cuisine.

Day 1
Arrive at Polonia Airport, we will start our first tour to Berastagi. We will visit the tallest Pagoda in Indonesia, Taman Alam Lumbini before check in at Berastagi. We will visit fruit market and Sibayak Moutain on our way to Berastagi.
Day 2
After breakfast, we headed to Parapat City. This city nearby to Lake Toba. We will see Sipisopiso Waterfall and Taman Simalem Resort.
Day 3
Lake Toba Tour! We will take a boat to Samosir Island and we will visit Tomok Village to see the tombs of the Kings Sidabutar and Sigalegale. Sigalegale is a wooden puppet used in a funeral dance performance of the Batak’s people. During the dance, the puppet is operated from behind like a marionette using strings that run through the ornate wooden platform on which it stands. The set up enables its arms and body to be moved and its head to turn.
Day 4
Horas Medan! We will see Maimun Palace, Tjong A Fie Residence, Vihara Gunung Timur, and Dewi Kwan Im Statue. We will accompany you to the local souvenir shop before check in.
Day 5
Another shopping in local store before departing to Jakarta. The tour will end when we escort you to the airport safely.

LAKE TOBA
Lake Toba (over 1,145sqm and depth of 450m) is one of the largest lake in Southeast Asia and one of the deepest lakes in the world.

Samosir Island is the original home of the Batak Toba people, the island has many traces of ancient days including stone tombs and traditional villages, such as at Ambarita  and Tomok which has a courtyard with stone furniture where in the old days convicts were tried and beheaded.





TAMAN ALAM RUMBINI
Taman Alam Lumbini has an area of 3 hectares was built in 2010 and it made this pagoda the tallest pagoda in Indonesia.

Unique reliefs and statues of Buddha adorn the main building of this Pagoda. To the left of the main building Pagoda, there is a tower that has shaped peak bekisar. Underneath there is a tendril ornament in the form of bracelets of gold over 1.5 meters. At the top of the Pagoda, there are dozens of bells as a decorator who will tolled if the wind.





MAIMOON PALACE
Maimoon Palace was well known as a Royal Palace of Sultan Deli and now it serves as a museum.

Built by Sultan Makmun Al Rasyid Perkasa Alamsyah in years 1887–1891, the palace was designed by the Dutch architect Theodoor van Erp and covers 2,772 m² with a total of 30 rooms.

The Palace has become a popular tourist destination in the city, because of its historical heritage status and unique interior design  of the palace.

  7. If payment has not been received as above agreement, Butik Trip will undertake unilateral cancellation and there will be no refund deposit for this matter.
  8. No cancellation will be accepted after you signed the confirmation letter. There will be no refund for this cause.
  9. Delay in return or lateness caused by transportation, weather, extended costs, accommodation, meals or other form of loss is the responsibility of the trip participant.
