We will take you to the real adventure in North Sumatera. The Journey will start from Bukit Lawang, a small village situated at the south of the Mount Leuseur National Park. It's located about 90 kilometers northwest of Medan, the capital city of North Sumatra. Discover the Sumatran jungle and have an outdoor adventure with orangutans to keep you company at the jungle village of Bukit Lawang to The legend of Toba Lake.

We will visit three villages in Samosir Island which represented the lives of the royal era of yore. Tomok, Ambarita, dan Huta Siallagan.

Pagoda Lumbini is a Buddhist temple located at Desa Dolat Rayat. This pagoda is a replica of “Shwedagon Pagoda” in Yangon, Myanmar. It hosts an elephant statue and the door appears like an India craft.

This adventure will last in Medan, we will not only see the local culture but we also indulge you with the local culinary and coffee before your departure.

Day 1
Your journey will start from the Kualanamu Airport to Bukit Lawang by our car. It will take approximately 4-5 hours driving. You will find a great view on your way to Bukit Lawang. Sam’s Bungalow awaiting to welcome you in Bukit Lawang. After hotel check registration and lunch, we start the day with forest trekking, visiting Orangutan Rehabilitation Center and ending with fun tubing.
Day 2
Morning breakfast with beautiful atmosphere and fresh air in Bukit Lawang. Our journey will continue to Siantar to visit Vihara Avalokitesvara to see the statue of Dewi Kwan Im. This statue has a height of 22.8 meters in the claims is the tallest statue in Southeast Asia and made by granite. Next destination will be Parapat, where you will stay overnight before a tour to Lake Toba.
Day 3
Finally Samosir. We escort you by public boat to across Lake Toba to the island of Samosir. Samosir Villa Resort will welcome you there before we explore the Tomok Village, the place where King Sanggalla live in the past.
Day 4
We still explore the Samosir Island but this time we will visit Ambarita Village and Huta Bolon Simanindo Museum.
Day 5
We will headed to Medan today but we will show you about Fruit Market in Brastagi, Pagoda Lumbini, and Sipisopiso Waterfalls. Your accommodation will be in Santika Dyandra, the best hotel in Medan.
Day 6
Medan city tour for today’s destination. Before your departure, we will take you to the best local culinary and coffee shop in Medan. Your tour will end when you arrive at Kualanamu safely.

LAKE TOBA
Lake Toba (over 1,145sqm and depth of 450m) is one of the largest lake in Southeast Asia and one of the deepest lakes in the world.

Samosir Island is the original home of the Batak Toba people, the island has many traces of ancient days including stone tombs and traditional villages, such as at Ambarita  and Tomok which has a courtyard with stone furniture where in the old days convicts were tried and beheaded.





BUKIT LAWANG
Bukit Lawang is one of the best places in the world to meet this rare and endangered primate. See these graceful creatures swing through the forest canopy as they forage for fruit. This is one of the largest stronghold communities of orangutans, with more than 5000 of them living in the here.

The Orangutan rehabilitation center is where young orphaned orangutans are trained to live in the wild. The center has been operating since 1973.






HUTA SIALLAGAN
Huta Siallagan covers a total area of 2,400 square meters and is surrounded by a 1.5 to 2 meter stone wall. Built from sleekly structured stones, the wall was once completed with bastions and sharp bamboos to protect the village from wild animals and attacks from other tribes.

The existence of two sets of large stones carved into chairs encircling a stone table. These fascinating sets of stone furniture artifacts are called Batu Parsidangan, meaning “Stones for Meetings and Trials”.

  7. If payment has not been received as above agreement, Butik Trip will undertake unilateral cancellation and there will be no refund deposit for this matter.
  8. No cancellation will be accepted after you signed the confirmation letter. There will be no refund for this cause.
  9. Delay in return or lateness caused by transportation, weather, extended costs, accommodation, meals or other form of loss is the responsibility of the trip participant.
